Welcome to Cub Pack 12 (Little Rock).  Our charter organization is Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church.  We are a part of the Quapaw Council of the Boy Scouts of America and of the Mohawk District in central Arkansas.  

BEAR Cubs are our Third Grade Cub Scouts.  This is Year 3 of the Cub Scout program.  The Cubs are expected to know how to execute a flag ceremony and begin to be familiar with the protocol surrounding a scout meeting.  At this point, many parents will chose to drop off their scouts if it is not their turn to help with leading the program.  While the parents do provide programming guidance and present information, the boys are expected to take a more active role in the meeting (flag ceremony, Pledge of Allegiance, Cub Scout Motto, etc.).    

Recent BEAR activities include an overnight camping trip (each cub scout with their own adult).  The boys begin to assume responsibility at this point by signing up for various duties during the campout (setting up the meal, cooking/serving, clean-up -- all with adult supervision).  

In Pack 12, the BEARS will meet for one hour on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month.
